Viva La Stamping!

In the chaos that has been this week, I managed to stamp three cards yesterday. Mostly I did it as a distraction. We had our dog, Kirby, put to sleep last night and used any means to keep from thinking about it all day. Laundry and cleaning were my post traumatic distractions today. He was a great dog that we had for ten years and he is already missed.

The three cards I did yesterday were for the three remaining sketches from Viva La Verve. I did weeks 2, 3 and 4 in one afternoon. The first one uses Fred Bear Has a Birthday from MFT.

The second uses Love-asaurus from MFT.

The last one uses Tweeny Tween from Pure Innocence.

Well, that's it for now. More later.

Oops!

Here are a couple of cards from last week that I forgot to share. The first card is the first Viva la Verve sketch for this month. I am slowly working my way through them. I used Birthday Girl from MFT's Pure Innocence line. The paper is all from Basic Grey's Kioshi paper pad. I used a bit of platinum Stickles on her crown.

Next up is another Pure Innocence set called Best Medicine. I used more Basic Grey paper on a Kraft card base. This sketch was last weeks Cute Card Thursday sketch. I blinged her up a bit with some glitter flowers and a rhinestone frame.

Note sure how much stamping time there will be this week, but hopefully a little bit. We are still in the middle of baseball season with two games tonight, plus Saturday is the boys' birthday party. It is going to be very busy here!

Bellarific Friday 5/21/10

I got a chance to play in the Bellarific Friday this week for the first time in over a month. This week was a sketch challenge. I used an older stamp called Fabby. I picked this one since she makes me smile. I used some scraps from my bin for the background and added some yummy satin ribbon from MFT. The card was finished off with three pink Bella Baubles.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

A Sketch So Nice...

I used it twice! I used this week's sketch challenge on SCS to make two cards. The first was for this week's Wednesday Stamp Club by MFT. I used of the Pure Innocence Boy and Dog stamps. Don't you just love his sweet little face? The WSC challenge for this week was to use watercoloring, which is not my strong suit, but I gave it a whirl. I used my waterbrush and an ink pad to add some sky around the boy and the tree.

This next one uses a digi stamp from Tiddly Inks. It is a teacher set called Teachers Change the World. I made this as a thank you for my son's teacher. The paper is from DCWV's Grade School Stack. There were several sentiments included in this digi set. I used two of them; the "thank you" on the front and the "teachers change the world one child at a time" on the inside.

I also got the Bellarific Friday challenge done for this week as well, but you will need to wait until Friday to see it. L8r!

A Few Goodies to Share

Though things are still busy with baseball, I did manage to get some stamping time in over the last week, but have not posted anything until today. My first card is the invitation for my boys birthday party on the 29th. Since baseball is the big thing in my house right now, we decided to do a baseball theme party for their birthday with Phillies decorations, of course! I used a digi stamp from Mo's Digital Pencil called Tuesday's Child.

My next card was for last week's Wednesday Stamp Club on the MFT forum on Splitcoast Stampers. The theme of the challenge was customizing your embellishments. I used the Beach Bum set for my card, as well as the cloud and scalloped scallops Die-namics dies from MFT.

Next is Mojo Monday's sketch from yesterday. I used another of Mo's digi stamps. This one is called Isaiah. It reminded me of my two boys and cute boy stamps are hard to find.

Lastly is Mercy's Tuesday Sketch Challenge and the Tiddly Inks Challenge from today. I used another digi stamp. This one from Christy Croll's Tiddly Inks. This one is called Muddy Adventures and again it reminded my of my boys.

Well I am hoping to get to the Bellarific challenge for this week, so cross your fingers!
